World Firefighters
Memorial Sculpture 20-10-02
C&R Equipment NZ Ltd is honoured to have been chosen by artist Graham Bennett to construct the memorial to fallen firefighters. The sculpture was built using steel recovered from the World Trade Centre Twin Towers and gifted to Christchurch by the
City of New York.
It was unveiled at a moving ceremony on the 20th October 2002 at the beginning of the World Firefighters Games held in Christchurch.
